Board of Fisheries Information

The MSB FWC made a concerted effort at the 2020 BOF Upper Cook Inlet finfish meetings to support actions that would return more salmon to Upper Cook Inlet waters and their natal spawning waters in the Mat-Su Borough. The BOF meeting ran from February 7 – 17, and was located at the Egan Center in Anchorage.

The FWC, with MSB staff support, worked to develop science-based proposals for BOF consideration. Efforts were made to form relationships with BOF members and allies. Outreach strategies included public presentations, media reports, public testimony signup web link, and developing a FWC BOF background booklet.
